Black Friday Deals

Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, typically has many incredible deals on merchandise. There is a website, http://www.blackfriday.info/ , that has many of these upcoming deals already posted. There are some really good prices on electronics, like a 52" Panasonic 720p LCD HDTV for $999 at Circuit City. Its regular price is almost double that.

Changing the subject to basketball, Kentucky didn't play too well the other night in their win over Miami of Ohio. The offense looked pretty awful. If it weren't for a good defensive effort, especially by freshman Perry Stevenson (7 blocks), then UK might have lost the game. The Wildcats are going to have to play a lot better in Maui.

Look - Another Post!

Rachel says I should post about something other than sports. I will oblidge - this time. But first: I beat Mark last week in our first head-to-head fantasy basketball matchup! You went down Mark! Better luck next time buddy! I'm sure you are going to post some clever comment about how you can beat me in real basketball - but no way dude! You are also going down December 9th!

Anyway, here is something non-sports related. Wait, never mind. I am not capable of posting anything non-sports related - unless it is about electronics! Check out this new refrigerator from LG: it has a 15-inch LCD HD monitor, along with weather info on a separate 4-inch LCD display, a DVD player (standard format, for now), and tuners for DTV and FM radio. Never has a refrigerator been so entertaining. Never has it taken me longer to write a boring blog entry.

Sorry, I seem to have writer's block today. Maybe another day. Rachel already posts all the good family pics and stories on her blog.

Nothing exciting going on...

Here's a blog post to satisfy those that think I should post more often. NBA TV is having a free preview the first week of the NBA season, it ends after Nov 7th. I checked it out for the first time last night. It was awesome, you get like 10 NBA games to choose from every night! To purchase the NBA League Pass after the free preview, I think it is about $180. Not worth it for me. Maybe if I had a ton of free time on my hands, and everyone in my family loved basketball.

Rachel is working this weekend, so I took the kids to the zoo yesterday. It was fun - Addie loves the gorillas and monkeys. Addie and I also got to watch some football yesterday. Addie doesn't mind football - Zoe hates it.
